Night of Hope 2014
The 2014 Night of Hope Gala took place at the beautiful Sarasota Ritz-Carlton and was a night to remember. Guests were entertained by Margo Rey, Ron White, Alex Reymundo and John McDermott. Over $25,000 in prizes were awarded to 10 lucky winners.
Since the fall of 2010, the number of cancer patients and family members participating in the programs has more than tripled. In order to continue meeting the needs of the growing number of cancer patients, their caregivers and loved ones, financial support and fundraising events are essential.

13th Annual Quantum Leap Golf Tournament
On Friday, November 7th, the 13th Annual Quantum Leap Golf Tournament was held at Innisbrook Golf Club in Palm Harbor.Over 125 golfers from all over the United States attend this year’s Tournament at our new venue. Foursomes teed off for some serious golf and even more serious fundraising. Proceeds from the Tournament provide scholarships for the challenged adults and children who participate in equine therapies at Quantum Leap Farm.
The highlight of every Quantum Leap Farm Charity Golf Tournament is the opportunity to meet some of Quantum Leap’s participants and hear their inspiring stories. This year everyone cheered for Mark Lalli, Army veteran and recent winner of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Community Hero Award.

8th Annual Risser Golf Classic
The 8th Annual Risser Golf Classic was held on Monday, November 3rd at Cypress Run Country Club. This Golf Classic benefited The Follow Through Foundation and Ready for Life Organization. Both of these causes are directly involved with the youth and children around our community.

2014 Snooty’s Gala
The 2014 Snooty’s Gala, Shaken Not Stirred, was held on Saturday, November 1st. This black tie event was held at the South Florida Museum and featured a Surf & Turf dinner by Michael’s On East. Guests bid on various vacation getaways, gorgeous jewelry and sports tickets.

51st Annual Clearwater-Dunedin Art Harvest
This past weekend, the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin held it’s 51st Annual Art Harvest in Highlander Park, Dunedin, Florida. Dimmitt Automotive Group was a proud sponsor of the event which proceeds benefits the local community.
With over 200 artists from around the country, and over 50,000 people from the Clearwater-Dunedin area, this is the largest autumn art show in the Tampa Bay area. The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin Inc, is a charitable and educational organization that allows women to grow to their potential and give back through volunteering.

Friends of Raymond James Golf Tournament
On Saturday, October 18th, golfers took to the course at the Belleview Biltmore Golf Club in Belleair, Florida for the annual Friends of Raymond James Golf Tournament. Dimmitt Automotive Group is delighted to be apart of this great event. We support Friends of Raymond James and encourage everyone to get involved with this charity.
Friends of Raymond James has been assisting Raymond James associates in coping with unexpected hardships for nearly two decades – from helping with unforeseen medical expenses to covering housing costs after the sudden death of a spouse. Because our nonprofit organization is not affiliated with Raymond James or any of its subsidiaries, we rely on the generosity of private donors to help us provide relief for associates in need.
In 2013, we assisted 23 individuals with contributions totaling over $92,000. Since we began our fundraising efforts in 1997, we have disbursed in excess of $700,000 to over 170 associates.

Morton Plant Mease Foundation Golf Tournament
On Friday, October 24th, Morton Plant Mease Foundation hosted a golf tournament, reception and auction. Guests enjoyed a beautiful day of golf followed by a delicious southern style buffet and charity auction. Dimmitt Automotive Group is a proud sponsor of this event and continues to support Morton Plant Mease Foundation in their efforts of serving the community.

MFA’s Bogies & Stogies Golf Tournament
On October 20th, the annual Bogies & Stogies Golf Tournament was held at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St Petersburg, Florida. The players were treated to an enjoyable day of golf followed by cocktails, dinner, auction and awards presentation.

16th Annual Otis C. Green Memorial Golf Tournament
On Friday, October 10th, The 16th Annual Otis C. Green Memorial Golf Tournament was held at Belleair Country Club. Dimmitt Automotive Group sponsored the event and displayed cars on green. This tournament was held to raise funds for the Homeless Emergency Project (HEP).
HEP is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Since 1986, their mission has been to provide homeless and very low-income individuals and families with housing, food, clothing and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.
HEP’s Goal “is to break the cycle of homelessness and be the last homeless shelter an individual or family ever has to access. HEP monitors its programs to measure progress against stated goals and to make necessary refinements. Program outcomes and data such as the number of clients who secure and remain in housing, and other measures indicating success and effectiveness are rigorously tracked and analyzed to inform the design of new programs and provide an evidence base to HEP’s policy views.”
