1111In the past few weeks, Dimmitt Automotive Group collected donations for Toys for Tots. We also pledged to donate one child’s bicycle for every new Cadillac sold. Today we gathered all of the donated items and bicycles to deliver them to the Salvation Army’s warehouse.

We would like to thank everyone that donated toys and purchased a new Cadillac. Thank you for helping us improve the lives of those in our community.

On Monday, November 24th, and Tuesday, November 25th, Dimmitt team members assisted the Salvation Army in handing out turkeys to those in need. Team members handed out over 3,000 turkeys along with other food items. People arrived with neighbors, family and friends with whom they shared the food.

upload2The 2014 Saints’ Golf Classic took place on Friday, November 21st, at 12:30 pm. The match was played in a 4 player scramble format and concluded with an awards and prizes ceremony. Proceeds to benefit St. Mary’s Parents’ Association in its effort to provide continued support to our school and its mission – LEARN, LOVE, LEAD – Inspiring curiosity, kindness and dignity in a caring Christian community.

The Beach Branch of the All Children’s Hospital Guild presented its’ 51st annual Mrs. Santa Luncheon and Fashion Show on Wednesday, December 3rd, at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. The event featured a Macy’s gift boutique coordinated by Macy’s Operations Manger Justin Maczis and a fashion show coordinated by Annmartine Rinker of the Beach Branch. All Children’s Hospital physicians and staff served as models, with Nathalie Koniszczuk, vice president and store manager at Tyrone Square, commentating. Guests were also given the chance to win: money tree, centerpieces, 50/50 and the ever popular Santa bags filled with gifts.

Charity Works Golf Tournament 2014Dimmitt Automotive Group was a proud participant in the 12th Annual Charity Works Golf Tournament to benefit local charities in the Tampa Bay area, which was held on November 20th at Belleair Country Club. Proceeds from this year’s scramble will be used to support the organization’s GIVE HOPE USA® wellness-medical aid program. Together we joined in the event to make a difference in providing temporary relief and wellness aid to economically disadvantaged families and individuals.

Charity Works was founded in March 1996, and incorporated in the State of Florida on April 16, 1996. Its corporate headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida and the founder and CEO is Mr. Chris R. Renfrow, a CPA* and CFE. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors.

Charity Works has been active in numerous philanthropic activities, including fund-raising events that have benefited thousands of disadvantaged and underprivileged children and adults. 2015 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GTCWest Coast Florida’s 2nd Annual “Horsepower for Hope” automotive festival was held on November 15, 2014 in Sarasota, Florida. This charitable event, hosted by the Center for Building Hope, is an auto enthusiast’s dream! Some of the most distinctive cars from Bentley, McLaren, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and many more were showcased along Lakewood Ranch Main Street for the charitable car show.

The 1st Annual Horsepower for Hope was a great success with proceeds from the festival benefiting the Center for Building Hope in Sarasota, Florida.

The Center for Building Hope offers free information, programs and services to cancer patients, caregivers and family members, while connecting them with others who are undergoing a similar experience.

The Center for Building Hope a non-profit organization located in Sarasota, Florida, providing free psychological, educational, exercise and nutrition programs for cancer patients, caregivers and their loved ones for over 17 years. Center for Building Hope helps people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation, restore hope and enhance their quality of life.

 

Cars and Coffee After Party November 2014

Supernova Silver P1After the duPont Cars & Coffee event, the November Dimmitt Cars & Coffee After Party was held at our Pinellas Park location where our Supernova Silver McLaren P1 was on display.
Guests from all over stopped by to check out the beautiful cars, shop for merchandise and enjoy a complimentary light breakfast and refreshments with fellow enthusiasts.
Everyone is welcome to attend and view all of the ultralux vehicles that Dimmitt Automotive Group represents including Aston Martin, Bentley, Cadillac, Land Rover, McLaren, and Rolls-Royce. We also have a variety of pre-owned supercars available for purchase. Veteran's Day LuncheonDimmitt Automotive Group had the privilege to host a very special Veteran’s Day Luncheon in honor of our Veteran guests and employees. Major General Karl Horst (Ret.) was in attendance to provide a wonderful speech in honor of Veteran’s Day. Attendees had the opportunity to show their support for one another as they were treated to a hot barbecue style buffet, ice cold drinks and delicious desserts.
We would like to thank all of those who attended the luncheon as well as extend our gratitude to all of our Veterans for their service to our country. We look forward to continuing the tradition by hosting another fine event next year.

This year, Cars & Couture was a part of the Motorfest Weekend which helped raise funds for Autism Speaks and Wheels of Success. Dimmitt Automotive Group sponsored this event and showcased several automobiles.
The weekend kicked off with Cars & Couture, which is known for its luxurious exotic car display and couture fashion show. This year, the event took place at the breath-taking Mansion on the Bay. Inside the Mansion grounds, guests will experienced a lavish reception, featuring our $1.2 Million McLaren P1 as well many other exotic automobiles, a silent auction, fine wine and cigars, live music, and an extravagant couture fashion show.
Cars & Couture Motorfest Weekend was found and created by Tampa Bay resident and owner of Luxe Fashion Group, Dona Crowley in collaboration with William Waters founder of the Vintage Motor Classic.

For one evening, several current and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and other celebrity friends, including Adrian Clayborn, Lavonte David, Warrick Dunn, Dane Fletcher, Vincent Jackson, Jesse Litsch, Louis Murphy, Brandon Myers and Austin Seferian-Jenkins, joined Quarles to trade football for food to become waiters for the evening.
In addition to celebrity service, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and a four-course dinner catered by Aramark, accompanied by the finest of wine.
The Buccaneers Radio Network and 620 WDAE’s Ronnie Lane emceed the evening and World Champion Auctioneer Frank Trunzo helped raise funds through thrilling live and silent auctions.
Proceeds from the evening will help fund the Home Blitz, Shepherd’s Village Edition program and the Scholastic Reading Challenges in efforts to fulfill the mission of Shelton Quarles’ IMPACT Foundation.
