This past weekend, McLaren Tampa Bay showcased the 570S at SRQ Caffeine and Gasoline at Phillippi Estate Park in Sarasota, Florida. SRQ Caffeine and Gasoline is a monthly car show that features everything from classic cars to the newest exotic cars. McLaren Tampa Bay showcased the McLaren 570S along side several other privately owned McLaren’s. Corsa America Rally owner and several members made an appearance along with several Ferrari Club members.

Magic in May – Cars & Coffee Afterparty
Thank you to everyone who attended the May Cars & Coffee Afterparty! During our Magic in May event, guests enjoyed a light breakfast and entertainment from local magicians. The three magicians wore 3 different colored shirts and competed for a monetary prize which was decided by the audience’s vote. At the end of the event, the votes were counted and the prize was awarded to the magician in the black shirt.
Cars & Coffee is a car show that takes place every third Saturday of each month from 7am until 9am at DuPont Registry. Dimmitt Automotive Group hosts the Cars & Coffee Afterparty from 8:30am-11am.

This past weekend was The Spirit of the Automobile in Daytona Beach, Florida. Dimmitt Automotive Group, home to McLaren Tampa Bay, showcased the new McLaren 570S during the Friday night cocktail reception and Saturday car show.
The Spirit of the Automobile car show features hundreds of muscle cars, classic cars and even some exotic cars. McLaren Tampa Bay showcased a 2016 McLaren 570S in Blade Silver with a leather interior. The 570S is the new entry level McLaren that starts at $184,900 and delivers unmatched performance for it’s class.

This past weekend, Dimmitt Land Rover participated in the Coastal Charity Challenge. The Coastal Charity Challenge offers participants the opportunity to win up to $10,000 for a charity of their choice. Participants had to complete a scavenger hunt and challenges in our local community. Dimmitt Land Rover was an official stop on the scavenger hunt. Participants were required to answer tenLand Rover specific questions in order to pass the Dimmitt Land Rover segment of the challenge. The questions were based on the history of Land Rover and trivia on the current models. The Dimmitt Land Rover team assisted the participants and answered questions about the new models.

This past weekend, Dimmitt Automotive Group sponsored The 2016 UIPM World Cup Final in Sarasota, Florida. Athletes traveled from all over the world to compete in the Pentathlon which serves as the precursor to the Olympic games. Dimmitt Automotive Group proudly supports the athletes and the Modern Pentathlon.
The Modern Pentathlon consists of five disciplines. The disciplines reflect the tests which a courier might have encountered in carrying out his duties: fighting off enemy assailants (fencing and shooting), navigating a river (swimming), overcoming a number of land-based obstacles on an unfamiliar horse (equine jumping), and traveling a significant distance on foot (running). These five events capture the essence of the human experience – pushing mind, body, and spirit to produce an unforgettable display of skill, endurance, and athleticism.

Firefly Gala 2016

Dimmitt Top Golf Rally
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Dimmitt Top Golf Rally! The Dimmitt Rally is organized by McLaren Tampa Bay/Dimmitt Automotive Group and is open to any sports car owners. The predetermined route is chosen to take advantage of the most beautiful roads in the Tampa Bay area. This past rally, we had over 30 supercars in attendance showcasing various brands and models.

Last weekend, McLaren Tampa Bay sponsored the 13th annual Celebration Exotic Car Festival in Celebration, Florida. The Celebration Exotic Car Festival benefits several charities including Make-a-Wish, Special Olympics and Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital. This great event has raised over 1 million dollars, the organizers volunteer and donate all proceeds to charity. The car show attracts hundreds of cars and over 40,000 enthusiasts.

10th Annual TAMCO Foundation Grand Slam Tournament
Dimmitt Automotive Group team members volunteered at the 10th Annual TAMCO Foundation Grand Slam Tournament last week. Volunteers setup all day to prepare for the cookout kickoff the night before the tournament.
The two day event is held for wounded military members in the Tampa Bay region. The tournament draws over 65 boats, 25 wounded veterans and their families, and many volunteers who help make this event happen. The wounded veterans are thanked for their service and selfless dedication to their country.
Dimmitt Automotive Group would like to thank TAMCO Foundation for all that they do within the Tampa Bay Community. We would also like to thank all of the United State’s wounded veterans who served our country with bravery and honor. Let us also never forget the military men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, we are forever thankful to you.
