On the weekend of November 12th, The Morton Plant Hospital celebrated 100 years of service to the community. Guests participated in a Friday night kickoff party, Saturday Gala and Sunday brunch. All proceeds from the weekend benefited the Morton Plant Hospital.

Dimmitt Hosts Lunch For Veterans
Today, Dimmitt Automotive Group hosted the annual Veteran’s Day luncheon at our Clearwater and St. Pete location. Veterans and the Dimmitt Team enjoyed some delicious barbecue and great conversations. Dimmitt Automotive Group would like to thank Veterans for their service and dedication to our country. Last Friday, November 4th, the 16th Annual Horse Play Golf Tournament was held at Innisbrook Golf Club. The Horse Play Golf Tournament provides scholarships for wounded veterans and challenged adults and children who participate in equine therapies at Quantum Leap Farm.
Dimmitt Insurance and Dimmitt Automotive Group proudly sponsored this year’s event. Dimmitt showcased a Range Rover Evoque on the golf course.

Dimmitt Automotive Group was proud to support Excellerate Jacksonville this past weekend. Excellerate Jacksonville hosted a cocktail reception on Friday night which featured exotic cars, jets and delicious food. Saturday morning, participants enjoyed a police escorted cruise on 60 miles of closed highway. The entire weekend raised money and awareness for The Police Athletic League (PAL).
The Police Athletic League of Jacksonville promotes educational, athletic and leadership programs for children. Up to 1,000 kids everyday participate in this after school experience.

Dimmitt Automotive Group, home to Bentley Tampa Bay, was a proud sponsor of the 2016 Tampa Bay’s Dancing With The Stars hosted by Hands Across The Bay. Hands Across The Bay is local charity that assists families in need and serves as an advocates for domestic violence victims.
Tampa Bay’s Dancing With The Stars 2016 was an exclusive event that featured prominent business leaders and local celebrities dancing with a professional dancer. The dancing competition was exciting and it raised thousands of dollars for the local charity. Bentley Tampa Bay showcased the new Bentley Bentayga, Bentleys first SUV. Dimmitt Automotive Group hosts a monthly car show, Dimmitt Cars & Coffee Afterparty, in the Dimmitt Exotic & Luxury Preowned Car building. Tampa/St Pete’s Cars & Coffee is held every third Saturday of the month at DuPont Registry, which is only a few miles from Dimmitt’s used car facility.
Cars & Coffee began at 7am and featured hundreds of luxury, exotic and muscle cars. Around 8:15am, the Dimmitt team members and a few dozen cars left DuPont Registry and returned to the Dimmitt Exotic & Luxury Preowned Car Building. Dimmitt served a light breakfast, fresh fruit and raffled off items which raised money for the Zoo’s efforts. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo brought various animals which the guests really enjoyed. The Zoo also taught guests about the programs they have in place to protect the welfare of captive animals.

Car Week in Monterey, California is the pinnacle of car shows. This year, Dimmitt Automotive Group participated with several vehicles including an Aston Martin One-77, One of One Twilight Edition Rolls-Royce Dawn, McLaren 650S and more.
A few of the highlights of the week included Quail and The Pebble Beach Concours. Both of these shows featured some of the most exclusive and expensive cars in existence. The manufacturers hosted receptions in the evenings for valued clients and prospective clients.
Several representatives from Dimmitt Automotive Group met new clients and reunited with past clients.

Last weekend, Dimmitt Automotive Group hosted the monthly Cars & Coffee Afterparty at our Luxury & Exotic Pre-Owned Cars building on Gandy Blvd. Cars & Coffee Afterparty is a monthly car show that follows DuPont Registry Cars & Coffee. Typically, over 100 cars attend — everything from vintage American classics to new exotics. A Marine and his guide dog chatted with guests about his life changing experience while serving our Great Nation. The Southeastern Guide Dogs changed his life and allowed him to live a more normal life. Dimmitt Automotive Group raffled a mini McLaren model, two eye glasses that were donated from a local eye doctor, shirts, hats and more. All proceeds from the raffle items went to Southeastern Guide Dogs.
