On November 25, 2019, Dimmitt Automotive Group participated in the Salvation Army’s Turkey Giveaway. Dimmitt employees went to the Joy Center in Clearwater where they helped distribute Thanksgiving dinners. These dinners feed over 40,000 people! There were 10,000 turkeys distributed along with all the classic Thanksgiving sides. All of these turkeys and sides created Thanksgiving meals for thousands of people. The Turkey Giveaway is only possible due to donations and volunteers.
This Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway is just one of the many things the Salvation Army does for the community during the holidays. Their motto being, “Doing the most good,” The Salvation Army does all that they can to help the community in times of need. Dimmitt is proud to volunteer with a company that does so much good for our community.
Thank you to our Tampa Bay community for the generosity. Thank you to all the volunteers who spent time distributing the meals. Thank you to our Clearwater Police who helped direct traffic. The Turkey distribution event could not happen without all of you. Thank you for giving to our Tampa Bay community this holiday season.
