The gas engine produces 247 horsepower with 269 lb. ft. of torque with the diesel generating 180 horsepower and 318 lb. ft. of torque. The Premium trim level comes with an available four-cylinder engine that produces 296 horsepower and 295 lb. ft. of torque. A supercharged V6 engine with 380 horsepower and 332 lb. ft. of torque is available with the S edition and if you choose the limited-run SV Project 8 enjoy the abundant power of the 5.0-liter V8 with 592 horsepower and 516 lb. ft. of torque. The unique SV Project 8 will also tempt you with extensive body, chassis and suspension modifications designed to match its powerful drivetrain. Each XE is equipped with the ZF® 8-speed automatic transmission, offering smooth gearshifts while adapting to suit your driving style.
