About that V8 Engine
The centerpiece of the 2019 Bentley Bentayga V8 is, of course, its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine. This intercooled DOHC 32-valve V-8 power plant with an aluminum block and heads along with direct fuel injection generate a still impressive 542 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 568-lb-ft of torque at 1960 revs. This Bentayga is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifting mode. Even with its significant 5,400 lb curb weight, the 2019 Bentayga V8 can accelerate from zero to 60 in 3.8 seconds. It can do a standing ¼ mile in 12.2 seconds and has a top speed of 180 mph.
