THE ALL-NEW RANGE ROVER EVOQUE
This all-new coupé will join the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport in North American dealerships in fall, 2011. It will be the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient Range Rover ever produced. The compact 4WD Range Rover Evoque is engineered to meet North American customer and regulatory demands for increased fuel efficiency in highly capable luxury SUVs.
Pete Sweetser is the Center Manager at Dimmitt Land Rover. He has over 15 years experience with Land Rovers all over the world. His first contact with them came like many, in the Royal Air Force charging about an airfield!
In 1996 he and his wife Michele started planning a global expedition, and for that there could only be one car - a Land Rover. Pete bought and still uses a rare Camel Trophy Defender, used by Camel for their "Olympics of four wheel drive" in Sabah Malaysia in 1993 where the US Team were successful.
Pete has led expeditions around the globe. Into the Sahara, deserts of Syria and Iran, over the tallest Mountains of Tibet (around Everest), to Temples of South East Asia and of course across America. His was the second expedition through China into Laos and the only one to date to drive this route and continue around the entire globe.
More recently he has led an expedition into Mayan Mexico and Belize and is now working on another high Himalayan adventure.
His experience of Land Rover products worldwide is unparallelled in the Tampa Bay area. He reached Land Rovers prestigious Guild in 1995, beingrecognised as one of North Americas top 15 salesmen. In 2009 he was again recognised as one of the countries leading Managers for Land Rover in North America. Interested in learning more?
