The Dimmitt Automotive team is second-to-none in providing personal attention to our clients and customers. The St. Petersburg Yacht Club Car Show, Festivals of Speed and All-British automobile shows are only a small sampling of shows that Dimmitt is involved with or is the exclusive principal of. The Dimmitt Automotive Group has also been involved with sporting events, from exclusive Super Bowl showings and championship golf events to local little league sports teams and event sponsoring.

We want to thank everyone that participated in the 2010 'Toys For Tots' Lotus Run. We had about 15 cars and cruised through the Tampa Bay area winding up at the Marine barracks in south Tampa. The marines were excited to see the cars and the kids got some much needed toys. We then cruised to Hula Bay for lunch. A great time had by all!

We couldn't WAIT to get the all new 2011 Cadillac CTS-V on the track to see what it could do! Our team members brought out 2 CTS-V's out to Sunshine Drag Strip to race them against competitive makes such as Ford Mustangs, Dodge Vipers and Chevy Corvettes. The fastest 1/8 mile time was 8.22 seconds, not too shabby for having street tires!

Full Auto Motorsports managed a track day at Tropicana Field using the parking lot for a small road course. Larger than an autocross event it afforded drivers the chance to build their driving skills and learn about the limits of their cars. A catered event, Lotus of Tampa Bay sponsored 18 Loti in the 40 car field. Drivers ran in groups and were timed running the course with instructors available to take them to the next level. A controlled environment like this gave the novice drivers a safe way to experience the thrill of racing and challenge the experienced racers with a racy track, if only in a parking lot. A very friendly Takuma Sato is the driver for the Lotus team and was able to enjoy some time with an Evora during his stay.
