Job Description

The Service Technician services and repairs vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures. In addition, he or she may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer. The Dimmitt Insurance Producer sells insurance to new or existing clients, including life, property, casualty, automotive, and any other type of insurance needed. The Insurance Producer is responsible for prospecting and generating new business through leads and referrals to grow the customer base. The Service Advisor is the center of communication for service/repair activities and the liaison between Dimmitt guests and the technicians. Job Description

The Warranty Administrator has the responsibility for the prompt and accurate submission of manufacturer and after-market warranty claims and the resulting collection of all warranty claim revenues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with the manufacturer’s designated warranty representatives with which the dealership conducts business
  • Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to the applicable policies and procedure manuals
  • Return improperly completed repair orders to the person originating the document for correction and/or completion as necessary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will perform a full range of customer service activities such as obtaining information from policy holder callers, responding to inquiries or problems and explaining processing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to all inbound customer calls and written correspondences
  • Build rapport with each customer. Actively listen to customers’ requests and inquires
  • Retain policyholders who inquire about canceling through open listening, negotiation and policy review
  • Proactively identify and communicate policy transactions and impact to customer billing
  • Evaluate and make decisions regarding exceptions to payment plan and fees.
  • Make alternate payment arrangements
  • Manage and utilize time effectively to ensure department meets requires service levels for improved customer satisfaction results
  • Tracks policy expirations for existing clients, and works proactively to ensure appropriate actions are taken to facilitate renewals
  • Assists in managing an assigned book of business, meeting all performance requirements regarding production, quality, and service, and ensuring that no liability associated with errors and omissions occur
  • Maintains agency automation system to ensure accuracy and currency of data
  • Creates and distributes client invoicing for any new business, renewals, or premium bearing transactions, and collects outstanding balances due
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assists others at all times
  • Assists in reviewing any client policy audits, identifying errors, and taking corrective actions as directed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • All required active licensing. Minimum 220 license
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy
  • PC proficiency – AMS 360, Salesforce, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Exceptional personal character

Job Description

The Service Technician services and repairs vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures. The role is focused on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and profitability of the department. In addition, he or she may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
  • Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
  • Repairs vehicles as assigned
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions
  • Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
  • Attends meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience
  • One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred
  • ASE certification (or is willing to obtain certification)
  • Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
  • Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
  • Good communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Safety and customer service oriented
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
